Choose valance tarps to create canopies
Even though you see tarps used in a number of ways at homes, offices, warehouses, farms and other places, most of the time, you may not realize that there are different varieties of tarps used for different purposes.
To most people, tarps mean canvas tarps (the ones that you might find on outdoor tents) or simple poly tarps (the blue sheets that you find covering almost anything from trucks and boats to goods being transported). Since valance tarps are to be fitted on high canopies, they are grommeted every 18-20 inches. These closely spaced grommets allow users to secure the tarp nicely. It also allows the even spread of force which gives more life and stability to these tarps. The extra extension on all the four sides also offers very good coverage. Manufacturers often provide a combo kit along with valance tarps. These kits contain zipped front and rear panels and two side panels. When the structure is put up as per instructions, such kits allow you to create a fully enclosed structure.
