Another new announcement is safe payments requirements for sellers who have bad buyer dissatisfaction rates, with less than 100 feedback, and list in some categories with higher rates of buyer complaints. This can protect buyers to buy goods in a trusty way and discourage untruth sellers.

Moreover, starting in February, the new PayPal enhancement will on it way. For PowerSellers (you will need a minimum 4.5 score in all four DSR: Detailed Seller Ratings criteria over 1 year period.), PayPal would not need your shipping confirmed addresses. Every address will be considered a confirmed address for PowerSellers. Besides, PowerSellers will have unlimited protection coverage and can sell to the world. If you are a PowerSeller and have a 4.6 and above on DSR criteria, you can have a 5% discount on your final value fees; and a 4.8 and above, you will have a 15% discount.

eBay also had launched another trusted marketplace called worldofgood.com combined socially conscious sellers and buyers. World of Good started in 2006 with 142 artisan groups within 34 countries.
